HEADACHES / TMJ

Some people experience significant facial pain, along with clicking and locking of the jaw. This can be due to problems with your Tempora Mandibular Joint (TMJ), which is the joint that connects your lower jaw to your skull.

The following is a simple checklist to see if you could have a TMJ disorder.

  • Do you clench or grind your teeth?
  • Do you experience dizziness?
  • Does your jaw hurt when you chew or laugh?
  • Do you have regular unexplained headaches?
  • Do you feed pain in your face or ears?
  • Are your teeth chipped or worn down?
  • Have you noticed your teeth moving?

If you said yes to any of these questions you may have TMJ issues. There are many solutions to this problem, some of which are painless and quite simple, so it is worth giving us a call to schedule an appointment.
